About the Panels

The Volunteer Attorney Panels provide an opportunity for members of our bar to gain valuable experience in federal court litigation and provide pro bono service. The Court greatly appreciates the dedication and hard work of the panel members in providing pro se litigants with competent and effective legal representation.

The members of the Prisoner Civil Rights Panel represent prison inmates for constitutional violations alleged to have occurred during incarceration, or for constitutional violations by law enforcement officers before the inmate was incarcerated that relate to the matter(s) for which the inmate is then incarcerated.

The Employment Panel members represent plaintiffs in cases that are brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and state claims which can be properly appended to federal employment claims.

The Social Security Panel members represent social security disability claimants challenging an administrative denial of benefits.

We strongly encourage you to consider creating a Box account and becoming a member of one or more of these panels.
