Scheduling Civil Cases

When discovery has been completed and pretrial conferences have been held, there are three ways in which a case can be scheduled for trial:

  • Date Certain
  • Civil Trial Pool
  • Special Listings

Scheduling Criminal Cases

When the Indictment is unsealed and the defendant has appeared for their initial appearance and arraignment before the magistrate judge, the Court will schedule the matter for trial. For additional information on the schedule of a particular criminal case, contact the judge’s courtroom deputy.

Miscellaneous Cases

After a miscellaneous matter is assigned to an individual judge, contact the courtroom deputy to schedule the matter before the Court.
